About
The photo at the top of this page might be better suited to a travel blog. However, in a sense, this website reflects the principles behind that journey:
I design and build systems that remain reliable under real-world constraints, while exploring new ideas in software and technology.
My interest in technology started in the early 80s with a self-built 6502-based computer. This experience shaped how I approach problems today: understand the fundamentals, keep systems lean, and build solutions that work under real-world conditions.
I value clarity, simplicity, and independence in problem-solving. Many of the projects I have worked on required long-term focus, persistence, and the ability to move forward without external structure.
In challenging situations, I rely on structured thinking and self-motivation. This mindset continues to shape how I approach both technical and demanding personal projects.
Experience
As the former founder and managing director of TEC-IT, a company specializing in software for barcodes, 2D codes, data acquisition, and reporting, I was responsible for both technical direction and business development. Over more than 30 years, my work combined team leadership and hands-on engineering with strategic decisions — from product design to market positioning.
